Winter Supplies Drive: Warm Water System & Bedding

As temperatures begin to drop across the Himalayan region, the school is launching its annual winter supplies drive.

The dormitories currently struggle to supply enough hot water even for drinking, let alone bathing; children describe washing their hands in winter as feeling like being cut by ice. We hope to install solar hot-water systems in the dormitories and provide children with warm enough bedding and winter clothing.

This drive is raising funds for: 300 sets of warm bedding, winter uniforms and coats, and repair and expansion of the hot-water supply system.
